Good morning, dear brothers and sisters in Christ! Happy Sunday! May today’s devotion bring you encouragement and strength in your walk with God.

📜🔍 Guiding Biblical Text — Joshua 1:9 (CSB)
Haven’t I commanded you: be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

C H O F Ministry’s Synopsis:
In this verse, God commands Joshua to be strong and courageous, urging him not to give in to fear or dismay. This call to courage is a powerful reminder that our faith can empower us to overcome fear and move forward in life, even in uncertain times.

🗣️Bishop Houston’s Contemplation:
Fear can be a powerful force in our lives, holding us back from pursuing our dreams and living the life God has called us to. But faith is the antidote to fear. When we choose to trust in God’s presence and power, we can find the courage to face our fears and move forward in confidence. Remember, God is with you wherever you go, and He has a plan to prosper you, not to harm you (Jeremiah 29:11). So let us choose faith over fear and watch as God works mightily in our lives.

As we walk by faith, let us also remember that courage is not the absence of fear but the willingness to act in spite of it. May we be like Joshua, who faced his fears and trusted in God’s promises, leading to a life of victory and purpose. May we, too, find the strength to overcome our fears and fulfill the plans God has for us.

“Let Us Go into The Throne Room of Grace and Mercy:”
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today, seeking courage in the face of fear. Help us to trust in your presence and power and to choose faith over fear. May your grace and mercy surround us, and may we walk in confidence, knowing that you are with us wherever we go. To God be the Glory! 🙏🏾

Have a Blessed Sunday, Everyone. ✝️ 🕊️ 💙 😊
