The Wisdom of Discernment
🌞 Good morning, beloved followers! 🌞 May God’s grace and peace be with you as we dive into today’s devotion.”
Scripture of the Day: Proverbs 18:13 (NIV) — “To answer before listening — that is folly and shame.” 📖
C H O F Ministry’s Devotion: As disciples of Christ, we’re encouraged to foster understanding and discernment. 🌱 It’s important to refrain from taking sides before fully comprehending the actual narrative. In our life journey, we might meet individuals who manipulate circumstances and play the role of the victim. 🎭 Their deception can often leave us shocked. 😲
However, the wisdom of God calls us to discernment. 🧠 We’re urged to pause, listen, and seek His counsel before hastily making judgments. Guided by the illumination of His word, we can understand the true narrative beneath the surface. 🕯️
In line with Proverbs 18:13, we’re reminded not to answer before listening. Let’s implement this wisdom by delaying our reactions until we have a clear understanding of the situation, guided by God’s wisdom and love. ❤️
Let’s work towards a heart that seeks the truth and a mind that values discernment above all. 🙏
Spiritual Thought for Today: Today, how can you practice discernment and seek to understand situations fully before making judgments? 💭
Let Us Go into The Throne Room of Grace and Mercy:
Heavenly Father, we humbly ask for Your guidance in fostering discernment and understanding. Lead us through the veils of deception to see the true narrative in situations. Help us to delay judgment until we have listened fully and understood deeply. May we always rely on Your wisdom over our own understanding. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen. 🙏
“May God guide us as we reflect on these words today. Wishing you all a blessed Tuesday! 🙏”
